Our approach

Magenta Renewables provided new data points through targeted consultation with key fabricators and suppliers combined with in-house market intelligence.

These data inputs were fed into our proprietary FOW substructure CAPEX model to generate bespoke costs for steel and concrete floating foundations; covering fabrication, assembly, and logistics through to load-out.

Costs were modelled across multiple design and supply scenarios, and validated against top-down benchmarking from recent FOW projects.

Outcome

The client received a fully refreshed CAPEX stack for foundations and moorings, with cost levers clearly mapped to their target market and procurement strategy. The analysis clarified their technology options and supported their bid strategy.
